I say this as someone with baby boomer elders who are “retired” but still serving on boards and consulting so they’re still raking in the $. My uncle is 80 talking about remodeling parts of the house. Lmao My aunt was like “Yea, I thought we would discuss maybe moving into one of those communities for older folks but…he wants to redo this and that…so I guess we’ll still be here”.
