Ya man Troy Ave talked all that NY and bring back NY shyt now he in the South doing records with Trae the Truth :russ::russ:

But seriously that's what it is. Ain't no NY sound. That 90's sound that Roc Marci does well, sure. That was NY and it's good to hear it but there hasn't been evolution. Just trying to blend in with the Southern sound.

Jahlil Beats kinda had a new age East Coast sound that NY producers have picked up on

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
ny fell off when it played itself out with the "im hard" shyt in the 2000s. before biggie wu pun mobb and such, being in a gang or being street wasnt the be all end all. when that shift happened , medicore drug dealers became rappers and certain garbage like maino, fab, joe blow mixtape mc was able to blow up. those are the same dudes with no true style who thus copied the southern sound and tried to adapt instead of being them.

but thats just my opinion. a decrease in talent/style caused it. its coming back tho
