Modern ppl are generally less resilient than our ancestors. COVID shutdowns and inflation have ppl panicking :francis:

COVID exposed to me how fragile society is and how many seemingly "healthy" businesses are in factuality on the edge of a precipice. I remember it was barely a week into the lockdowns and businesses were already complaining about having to close up shop and how this would destroy them financially. Not to mention all the ppl who live paycheck to paycheck, even though judging by their level of consumption, you would think they were financially solid.

Let's remember it wasn't taken all too seriously for the populace. I mean you had people pitching conspiracies about 5G towers, on some "Custer's Last Stand" shyt over masks and vaccinations and honestly just fed up with quarantine and wanted to get back to life.

The losses were less than an afterthought for most unaffected.

Humanity
The generation that grew up with the Spanish Flu epidemic went crazy in World War 2.

:lupe:

The past three years have absolutely put a dent in my psyche. Still sorting it all out to be honest. I don't think I've become more of an ass hole but I am way more insular and reclusive, and not in a good way. I don't see how anyone could have lived through that and not have some emotional scars. That shyt was/is fukking crazy. Mother fukkers were straight up dying left and right, trucks full of bodies and giant medical ships off the shore of NYC. I hope we don't have to ever live through another pandemic like that or even worse. As bad as Covid is, it could have been some crazy shyt that took 3/5 people out within a couple of months and left the rest to their own devices. We got lucky in many ways considering how badly governments around the world fukked up so many different things. Humanity is hanging on by a shoestring and most people don't even know.

The was no real relief or end. The threat still lingers. Some people's lives have been upended. People are exhausted with the bad news. After all that we had monkey pox looming because of reckless fakkitry. I know many people that died and of many (celebrities)

Politics around the word trending extremely to the stupid. Then a war and rapid fukking inflation.

Id take that one way trip to Mars right now if they were still offering. Between illnesses and bad politics I've had enough.

No, it's been a slow process that I've been observing since the 70's. Yeah, it's anecdotal, but considering we used to greet each other with 'Hey, Brother/Sister...' and now it's, 'What's up, nikka...'

Used to think it was just 'White' people, but, came to the realization that EVERYBODY is angry and takes that anger out on everyone around them IRL or online.

Slightly disagree with someone and watch what happens.
Bro you see that video with Quavo seem to just have some intense banter that dudes used to just walk away from and somehow it escalate in 10 seconds to multiple people shot and Takeoff dead instantly shot in head. smfh.

-Nah. None of the people in my life are any different than before & the a$$holes I've met since COVID might've been a$$holes before.

-The other thing is people wanna keep acting like we were all in this together, we weren't. Few people in this country actually see each other as some kind of American family.

Its cliche but the isolation created this fear or indifference for each other. We were told to not socialize. Not be around each other. For fear of death. On top of supply chain disruption

The mouth breathers really couldnt handle that. They dont know how to handle adversity with compassion. So they got primal.

Now when the machine that is capitalism resumes, and we get back to being its bytches, those primal inclination we had during the shut down still linger.

Nature always finds a way to reset. Cleanse itself. But humans somehow avoid this. We fight it.

to me, the secret culprit is the fear of being eaten

nature is pretty clear that what can eat can also be eaten

The great toilet paper drought showed how full of ish most people are. Not to mention stupid and easily influenced.

Its was interesting from a global perspective and the research was done for the release of the fake aliens that will unify the Earth as one race against them in a generations time when the order of the ages changes the level of the Game to a new stage...
