This
50 had NY divided cause of his beef with Ja. Then he went at anyone making tracks with his enemies. It did more harm than good.
yea because fat joe and jadakiss were well on their way to becoming superstars that would hold ny down for the next decade:mjgrin:

beefing with fat joe and jadakiss = ny divided
but jay z beefing with nas mobb deep the lox and his own artist cam'ron = competitiveness:mjgrin:

C'mon fam. I'm a Ross stan and I don't think he could have possibly had any impact on NY rap.

Relying on Curtis to hold it down for all of NY? Somebody had to step up and nobody did (from a popular standpoint).

#MMG:myman:
nikka Joey Badass did the same number as Ross on an independent label.
Nas outsold him, A Tribe Called Quest outsold him, Asap Rocky outsold him, Fabolous did too..

Worse this is just a stupid statement, it's like asking did 50 kill Miami? After 50 beefed with him, no rapper from Florida is doing big numbers.

I actually can't name one state with like 5 rappers who are moving big numbers btw.

If we just name the biggest rappers that move over 100k fw or close to
Nicki, Jay, J. Cole, Kanye, Drake, Eminem, Kendrick, Meek Mills, Future, Big Sean, Asap, Jeezy, Travis Scott, Nas, Dr. Dre

They are from across the map, GA is like the only state that is extremely overrepresented in hits though.
