Did Season 8 of Game of Thrones ruin the series for you?

Despite the fact i have been very critical of the direction of this final season I voted no because I been through this with HBO before to the point I'm used to them fukking up final seasons...

Both of those classics had poor final seasons and despite that did not ruin the series for me...

That said I do strongly feel D&D should be removed from any role in the GOT prequels...This final season of GOT was a tremendous flop and HBO cannot be blamed for it like they were with Rome and BE which were rushed to conclusion for financial reasons...

D&D were handed blank checks for the final season of GOT and HBO wanted 10 episodes...

No excuses, this failure is all on D&D...

I will not rewatch s7-s8. I will go ahead and buy the boxset that is out now. The only thing worth seeing in S7 was Dany vs Highgarden and Night King killing Viserion. Literally nothing else. S8 has shaped up to be complete basura. The conclusion of the story is not enough to make this season palatable.

I have a friend who has never seen the show. Before episode 3 I told her she HAS to watch this show because of how amazing the story is. After episode 4 I told her nevermind and to watch Breaking Bad instead.

Season 1-4 is GOAT television. All else after is a steady decline.

I'm glad Tywin died before they could dumb him down as well.
