Did someone jack a Sean Price/Alchemist beat for this new 50 Cent joint?

I should note that I don't care at all. I just found this interesting. Looking forward to 50's new tape and the 50 joint is dope.

On face value, it sounds just like this


But, there's that Sweet (Common song) sample intro tacked on, the kicks and snares sound different, some chops sound like they might happen in different spots, and I don't think Alc would resell this beat that's several years old and after Sean P died, especially when he and Sean were friends. There's no instrumental of this floating around, and if there were, it wouldn't have the intro and different drums tacked on. Alc hasn't tweeted about this, and 50 never said it was produced by Alc, but 50 has said that Alc would be producing on his new mixtape.

Confusing. I just know that whoever made the actual beat for Body bags is probably not Alchemist.

I know and I'm excited for it. I'm not angry. I couldn't care less. I'm just curious. It's an interesting choice to redo a beat of if that's what happened.

50 always drops good tapes. I liked War Angel, Forever King, and The Big 10 a lot.

Probably is Alchemist, 50 used the Hold On beat from Joell Ortiz and gave him writing credit for using it on Animal Ambition

Yeah. But I guess I was saying the actual beats aren't the same. I just heard from a producer that I trust that someone did just reflip the sample the same way and tacked new kicks and snare drums on it. But you're right, the beat is basically the same.
