I honestly believe he did earn his MVP that first year. His assist stats and leadership on that Phoenix team had phenomenal impact. I REALLY think that the fact he got two (undeservingly the second year) while consitently dominant year to year players like and only have one overshadows the fact that he DID rightfully earn that first one. Steve Nash should NOT have more. MVP's than those two, but that doesnt mean he should be completely shytted on as if he was fraudently given both...l
