I was thoroughly entertained and enjoyed the two heavyweights of this generation going at it, especially as a fan of both. I do think the waters got a little muddy towards the end because of how people feel about Drake and he was never gonna “win” in their eyes but it is what it is I guess. Kendrick won to me because Euphoria and Not Like Us are bangers, also stepping on Drake’s momentum after Family Matters is one of the craziest moments in hip hop history. After some time, I ended up heavily fukking with Family Matters and thought Drake slid. Good battle, we won’t get anything like this ever again

I haven’t been a fan of Drake one moment in his whole career and totally enjoyed his songs and thought he rapped really well.

What surprised me is his ability to make chess moves and the ruthlessness of the raps. I don't know how anyone could have expected that.

Yes. I love kendrick because he is so genius but this whole thing was sick! And yes, the hate was so palpable which was different, usually he is like the quintessential "homie", so lovable and cutie... then he just spaz out and its actually believable.
