i don't have a stake in this - i personally think the reference tracks definitely knocks him down the rankings as an emcee on principle, but to say he never wrote anything while theres evidence to the contrary is kind of a reach imo

Used to think so. Then the reference tracks leaked and I thought maybe he spits other people's raps sometimes, then meek having the jump and knowing the lyrics to summer 16 and having war pain prepped already came, then the stories of the concentration tents at OVO started leaking and now I am starting to think e doesn't at all. Rhianna doesn't write her ish either and she has some dope tracks so I'm not hating. Drake just can't be considered a lyricist/MC anymore. I don't even believe that wrote for other people shyt and i've heard the songs, from alicia keys to jamie fall for your type with drakes original version, I think that's some fake shyt the industry cooks up to build an artist's brand, maybe i'm wrong or the truth is somewhere in the middle, but these nikkas are productions.
