Did the pop artist 'Drake' ever write any of his lyrics?

@mr. smoke weed

Not to derail your thread but it doesn't matter how much he did or didn't write.

His own producer said this in 2012:

Noah '40' Shebib: Recording Drake's 'Headlines'

In hip-hop, you must write your own raps. If someone else were to write them for you, you'd have no credibility whatsoever, and you'd be out of the window immediately.

Then, after the reference tracks leaked:

So when you make a thread like this, I know you have good intentions but the stans are going to split hairs over how much help he had. When his own camp said you shouldn't need help writing, then switched it up after he got caught.

You gotta have at least 8 bars written to be a credited writer brehs unless you're a producer brehs :pachaha:
you goofy, that's how people do things.
How did Wondagurl get writing credit on somebody's song if she doesn't write songs?
She made a beat for somebody (Travis scott) who didn't credit her, and he looked out by crediting her on a song she didn't have shyt to do with.
In Drake's situation: He writes nothing, but has a team of people writing for him, if somebody requests a song with "his sound", he farms them out.
I am in a similar situation production-wise. I know how this works because I'm going through it, dummy.

Looking back most of his music always came across as unnatural, forced and kids swimming pool deep. Everything that isn't Aubrey in his basic form i.e Charged up is highly questionable, even then there are still questions, you don't become so reliant on other's and suddenly jump back to using no one's help.

Oh, you CAN'T...because you don't have one...because you don't make music...and you don't know how writing or production split sheets work...because you've never seen one...because you're a consumer...and you pay for music...written by people you'll never see...because you just skim through and don't listen to the music.
