Maybe not everyone feels that way
And neither you, I , nor the law, should dictate how people react to being attacked.(keep in mind when you're attacked like that you don't if it's just going to be "a" punch. could lead to much more..)
I have absolutely no problem with this shooting. If the store clerk had thrown the first punch and dude retaliated, then fine. BUt the black dude attacked him first so heck yeah i would have shot him too
so your first inclination of getting hit, is not to use your fists to fight back..like a man, but to shoot to kill?
My first inclination to being attacked is to suppress the attack by any mean necessary.
I'm not gun nut and i dont own one but I have no problem shooting a mofo thats attacking me if im in that position. Go ahead and wait for the attacker to pull his gun out if you want, doggy.
Mofos in this country shoot eachother over any little thing. Just this past wednesday night on X-mas eve i seen a mofo pull out a gun over another stepping on his shoes. I was less than arms-lenght away from the confrontation myself.
Again, im not the type to carry a gun and i have never been in a position where i felt i needed a gun in order to feel safe somewhere. But if your boy attacks me while i happen to have a gun on my hand you can bet shots are being fired. I wont wait to find out how much MORE of a threat he is to my well being.
Would your response be the same if he was white...or would you then fight like a man.
Especially if he was white because i know white people are more likely t be carrying a gun than blacks because they always NEED a gun to be safe.
Thats the common misconception in this country. Whites are more likely to be carrying than black FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. So if he's white and starts some sh!t and attacks me you can bet your ass im gonna assume he's carrying and pull mine out first. I have very few white "friends". ALL of them except one or two are gun nuts.

Especially the guy got robbed at gunpoint before.
Unless there was a reason to punch the dude, I guess this was unnecessary violence on both sides

Not only did he get robbed, he got shot in that robbery too. And it was only 2 weeks prior to this incident.
The timing couldn't have been worst for the brotha..

what nikkas fail to realize is you dont know what is going through that clerk head. dude really doesnt know if son got a strap. doesnt know if hes about to get the brakes beat off him. he doesnt know if son going to come back and shoot shyt up. he just doesnt know.
anyone that snuffs you like that is unpredictable and is now a threat.
what was the clerk suppose to do? not pull out the strap until son pulled out a strap?it would of been too late.
its a messy situation all around. I dunno if I'd have the heart to clap a nikka for snuffing me. Id probably just want to throw hands, but then again, ive never been robbed or beat before.

No one deserves to get shot over a punch, over an affair, a robbery, over almost anything other than murder or rape. (I woulda definitely popped him tho, but I'm a goon and that's just me tho)
However, the shot seems to have been a reactionary situation. It wasn't like he was like "damn, this guy punched me, let me go find my gun and look for him" (which is exactly what I woulda did, just keeping it 100, goon life all day, bang bang)
Dude already had the gun on him so when the punch hit his face his first instinctive reaction was to let one off without even thinking about it. Heat of the moment type shyt
The first thing I'm gonna do if someone punches me is immediately swing back or cause bodily harm to that individual with whatever tool or stick i have near me, that's just our instinctive/reaction nature.
This is some The Walking Dead Beth death shyt, yal saw how the cop was remorseful after she merked Beth? she didn't intentionally plan to merk her but after that stab in the neck it was pretty much reactionary with primal survival instincts taking over

Good point about it not seeming premeditated. he was punched, and as a reflex he shot the attacker.
BUT, it still doesn't excuse him for welcoming the confrontation by opening the door. He had full total control of the situation with those doors locked. To open it, knowing you're armed, means you wanted something to happen..
