What @getmoney310cpt mentioned

I can't believe people took that with the gospel. Flip had been in Cloverland forever, well into his stardom when Sunshine and Game Over were getting play. I lived in the very next neighborhood over at the time (which is basically 3 streets from him) and would regularly see him, and before his stardom when he was still on Suckafree with Hump, Yung Redd & AP. Scarface had the nerve to say somebody wasn't from the hood and didn't live there when HE was living in some upscale safe powered white area at the time (I wanna say River Oaks). Face flat out lied and everybody (including other Houston artists) took it as 100% fact. Damn shame. Botany Boys, Point Blank, Chamillionaire, and Z-Ro were the only Houston dudes I can remember off the top of my head that was down for Flip when everybody else was either hating on him, or falling back and hoping to work with T.I.

The fact that Tip didn't bother to call Flip and ask the man what was what...He called some nikkas that had beef with Flip anyway trying to make him look like a punk but it was just silly.

Always wondered how Flip fans felt about this..

Anyone who was actually in the know and didn't take stuff at face value knew the real deal, that T.I. was basically salty, hurt and feeling himself. Everybody else (which was unfortunately a large majority) took T.I. and Scarface's words and flocked to them as the gospel. Heh.

Flip stayed in the Cloverland area in Houston, and was also a play on the Fighting Irish bball team (Flip was a hoop dude as well). So it wasn't actually a gimmick. T.I. (again) just went with the first surface thing and made light of it. I always thought it was funny that people chose to back the bytch and eventual snitch, while leaving the dude who was simply just rapping and getting money out to dry. Remember Beef 3, when T.I. was fumbling the grill all in his mouth and using all this tough guy talk, while Flip was just calm and logical? That basically told me all I needed to know back then, it's the same right now.
