The TLC cover is great. It indicates how ahead of the times that 'If I was Your Girlfriend' was. The beat is very 1990s, but Prince made that shyt in 1986/1987. I give the edge to Prince because TLC sounds flat in the 2nd verse and there isn't the killer bridge.
