I was never a sneaker head but what I wore were expensive for the most part. I started gambling seriously bowling w/ all the old heads at like 8 so I bought what I wanted if I felt like my parents got me something that wasn't up to par for my taste. That was the cool part. I remember my dad bought me some Cleveland Indians shoes from Super K Mart & I just was like... Thanks, dad knowing they would only be used to cut the grass. :pachaha: My mom kept me fly though for the most part so I'd say 70/30 of my shyt was expensive until I figured out I didn't give a fukk at what I was wearing really. Just wanted to look nice but didn't care about $100 jeans, etc...

I remember pops copping the Reebok Instapumps back when I was like 10/11 years old. Wore them shyts to school and got clowned to death because they were the glow in the dark joints and cats wanted to hang me from the ceiling to use my kicks as a lightbulb :birdman:

Now them shyts are blowing back up and kids ain't no damn lighting fixture :birdman:

Nah,didn't really have any super expensive shyt, wasn't a bummy nikka either though.Had a couple of Jordans but I wasn't really in to them growing up.Didn't see the point in rocking shyt everyone else got. This is probably why i'm not a huge label whore now.I'd rather dig in the crates and find some dope start up brand that sells shyt at a reasonable price than wear some popular shyt that'll kill my pocket.

I had some nice clothes, they weren't expensive though.

I blame my big sister, she got some stylish shyt when she was young but me being the 2nd kid my parents realized they wasted alot of money on those clothes at that age so I was always clean and neat but it wasn't really nothing name brand until I got about 10 other than some basic nikes

I had nice clothes. Not expensive clothes. And if something required dressing up, it was not a good look. I kind of looked down on myself.

Funny story, I didn't have a clean pair of pants for little league baseball practice except for a pair of red, white, and blue plaid, Sears Toughskins slacks. I felt dumb but didn't have anything else to wear. I ride my bike to the practice field and walk up to a bunch of guys waiting for practice to start. One of them say to me, did you know we are having the team photos today? :sadbron: You cannot cover up the pants you are wearing. It's impossible. The team photo and the individual batting stance photo shows your pants.

Nope, but neither did anyone else in my neighborhood so it was all good. Now come middle school, I had to get up on the Nike game so I learned to make my money in my own ways.

I wouldn't call them expensive, but I went school clothes shopping about twice a year until my junior year of high school. When I was younger 2-6 my grandmother would sew me, and my sister pretty dresses. (I still have a few of those dresses)

Nope.
Nope. We weren't even particularly middle class until my junior year of high school. I didn't get anything expensive for myself until I was in university.
