I go over to the Arcadium and get completely lost.

I see brehs talking about these games and when I try to play those games, I lose patience. My era was putting the game in, selecting 1 or 2 players, and getting right to the action. That's what I'm used to.

But now, you have to follow the story, read through a bunch of dialogue(where I rapidly press x on some "I ain't tryna read all that shít. I just wanna play"), then when I get to the actual gameplay, I'm walking in circles, doubling back to where I was, etc. I think it was that Hogwarts game.

I got frustrated and found teenage mutant ninja turtles on PS plus, and felt more comfortable playing

It's not too late if you want to get more into it, just gotta choose the more accessible games

Alot of AAA gaming trends are only healthy for the publisher not the consumer. From that perspective I let alot of gaming pass me by.

Im a millennial. I'll be with retro console games and the indie stuff.

yeah I think it might be over for me I gave my PS5 to my nephew and my Xbox is collecting dust. I'll only probably play games like Grand Theft Auto or Red dead when they occasionally release, but it's over for me on madden,2k, etc all the games I use to collect yearly.

I think I'm gonna give it a go.


Mind you, I've had every PlayStation, so it's not like I'm coming from the Sega Genesis era. I should be more inclined than I am. I even bought Skyrim when it 1st came out. Played it once or twice, then went right back to 2k
