I could not get thru red dead redemption.
Used to play battlefield online but just stopped and let my psplus subscription lapse. Going on two years now. Occasionally get an itch to see upgrades in the recent release but it's shortlived.

Maybe cause I look at a computer screen 40 hours a week, but I'm not trying to focus like that after hours. Feels like a chore. Will jam on some Mario or Minecraft with my son tho

I go over to the Arcadium and get completely lost.

I see brehs talking about these games and when I try to play those games, I lose patience. My era was putting the game in, selecting 1 or 2 players, and getting right to the action. That's what I'm used to.

But now, you have to follow the story, read through a bunch of dialogue(where I rapidly press x on some "I ain't tryna read all that shít. I just wanna play"), then when I get to the actual gameplay, I'm walking in circles, doubling back to where I was, etc. I think it was that Hogwarts game.

I got frustrated and found teenage mutant ninja turtles on PS plus, and felt more comfortable playing:mjlol:
I really do not understand what you are talking about. Even in the NES/Genesis/SNES era there were the same "slow" games that you are complaining about now, whereas right now there are games that have very little to no story and put you right into the game.

It is 2025, if you want to play a game that has a deep story and dialogue you have a bunch of games for that, just like if you want to just hit and shoot things there are games for that.

Yeah, I don’t have that kinda patience. I barely did it when I was a kid. I used to just sneak and swap N64 cartridges with my cousins. They had all the cheats and beat all the levels
