I really do not understand what you are talking about. Even in the NES/Genesis/SNES era there were the same "slow" games that you are complaining about now, whereas right now there are games that have very little to no story and put you right into the game.I go over to the Arcadium and get completely lost.
I see brehs talking about these games and when I try to play those games, I lose patience. My era was putting the game in, selecting 1 or 2 players, and getting right to the action. That's what I'm used to.
But now, you have to follow the story, read through a bunch of dialogue(where I rapidly press x on some "I ain't tryna read all that shít. I just wanna play"), then when I get to the actual gameplay, I'm walking in circles, doubling back to where I was, etc. I think it was that Hogwarts game.
I got frustrated and found teenage mutant ninja turtles on PS plus, and felt more comfortable playing![]()
