the truth with the Redskins this season is we were not able to correct last year's problems due to the salary cap constraints.

He has a terrible OLine and a terrible stable of receivers (which a lot of us Redskins fans told you last season). And that defense stinks, particularly the secondary.

Not many QBs will succeed with that mess around them, yet RG3 did and was a superstar.

It looks like we regressed to the mean. RG3 will get much better over hte course of this season and will even get his speed back. Next season with about 60 or 70 million in cap space, we goin ham.

Having a superstar QB is invaluable in today's NFL. Most of you know that but you all are also idiots.

If RG3 doesn't elevate the franchise going forward, the answer is yes. Given his playing style and the fact he's only one man, the smart GM factors into the trade equation the probability, however small or large it might seem, his star running QB might get injured or might otherwise not work out. The good GM then makes the decision to either spread the risk by drafting all over the board or instead concentrate it on that one guy. The latter is what the Redskins did and it could end up being a bad decision. If RG3 doesn't play up to last year's potential, then indeed Washington gave too much for him. Hindsight is 20/20 but putting all your eggs in one basket is mostly ill-advised in betting odds.

once again, there is no such thing as a pistol offense. Peyton Manning ran a few plays out of the pistol formation, do you expect him to run? Brady and Big Ben have done it this season too. Its a formation, not an offense.
