From my understanding, Missy like Busta, was randomly at recording sessions. I remember Mary talking about writing "Be Happy" and songs from My Life and saying Missy was there.

She had already was fukkin wit Puff from the year before with the remixes n shyt like Cold Rock a Party. Swing mob was done in 95 and she had been fukkin wit Puff since before Bad Boy existed. She dropped Supa Dupa Fly in 97 so that damn sure wasn’t when she first left the Da Bassment crew. Ginuwine’s The Bachelor n all that shyt had been out at the point of All About The Benjamin’s release.
