Did we underestimate Ricky Rubio's value?

I know we like to shyt on Ricky Rubio's horrible shooting but is it safe to say he's much better than we gave him credit for. From 2008-11 the Timber wolves were winning anywhere from 15-26 games a year with Klove. After coming off ACL surgery in his Rookie Year the T wolves went on to win 31 games in 2012 and 40 games in 2013. After being irrelevant for most of the post KG years they finally had some expectations. The T wolves started the season 3-2 and in 2 of those loses they blew the lead late in the 4th quarter. Than he goes down and they go from being slightly below average team to the 2nd worst team in the NBA. In 12 games since Rubio went down the Wolves have gone 2-10 giving up nearly 106 ppg.

No matter how good he is on the court, if he's not on the court, he's hurting the team
