I had AP classes. Too much homework to finish in class.

So did I, so I got selective. The shyt I could finish in school that day, I did. Sometimes I just stayed an extra half hour. What didn't get done then, got done in homeroom the next morning or between classes the next day.

More often than not, the only 'homework' that gave me that issue was English because of reading assignments.

I had AP too and i never did homework at home.

I would try to do that shyt as soon as it was assigned especially if it had a long due date
Breh we had a workload that was killing the top of the class students. Part of the homework for one of the class was the in class notes. So you couldn't not pay attention.

Yeah i did pay attention

I also had time to do my work in class. Half the time paying attention usually explained how to complete something

And rarely did i take notes either. Understand how shyt works or what it is and keep it moving.

Also, i read ahead in the books and had periods like homeroom and shyt where we didn’t have to do anything so i did classwork

I always did. My mom didn't play. If I didn't know something, she told me to look in the encyclopedia. If it wasn't in the encyclopedia, she'd send me across the street to Ms. Lisa's house for help. If Ms. Lisa couldn't help, we got in the car and went to the library.

These kids today don't know shyt about that. When I was a teacher, I stopped giving homework, because most of the kids never did it. Their excuse was always, "I didn't understand it". That used to drive me insane, because I would have never even thought to use that bullshyt excuse as a kid.

In all fairness, I really stopped giving homework because it's useless for everything except math. I was a Social Studies teacher, and I felt that nightly homework, other than a long-term project, was just busy work, and therefore unnecessary.

Hell Yeah. That was probably 80% of our grade when I was in school(graduated in 2004)

If I didn’t do it I would copy it off someone when I got to school the next morning. I graduated with a 3.4 or something like that
