I was in an Army Reserve unit with a cop who worked there after the storm. He had stories for days.

The story that stuck with me was there were teams doing wellness checks. They were going door to door looking for people and seeing if they needed any help.

They get to one house and heard noises. Ended up being three men allegedly raping an underage girl. The team allegedly executed those men on the spot while the girl was still in the house.

On can only imagine all the grimey shyt that went on during the weeks and months after.
