Question how old are you now to have getting it on purpose when young be the best thing to do
I remember taking the vaccine when I was young

I'm 40.

Its weird looking back bc I went to private school and nobody ever had it. I had to catch it from a homegirl in my building.

I didn't get any physical scarring, but I got emotional scars from my mother going to damn city island and getting mad fried shrimp I couldnt even eat cuz I had a big ol chicken pock on my lip.

Yep! 90’s babies. Shingles is the adult version of chicken pox, and it’s FAR worse.

I mean once somebody in our house got it we all got it. My mom took care of us since she already had it.

We weren’t trying. It’s just contagious

My brother had one in his throat. He couldn't eat shyt without crying. I got em. when I was three. I remember that vividly. I remember feeling like straight shyt. My mom put socks on my arms to keep my from scratching. She said I used to walk around with my blanket over my head because I didn't want people to see me . There's a few pictures of me where I'm like , , and because I didn't want my picture taken

But I never did. We were a year apart and slept in the same bed. Like 9 YO or so.

Not on purpose but I got it at school. Chicken pox wasn't as bad as I remember but you gotta deal with shingles as you age

I got shingles when I was like 25 randomly. But as you age you are more susceptible to getting it, that's why they recommend vaccine for shingles. Some people get it in their eyes which is the worst I imagine. I got it on the side of my ribs.
