The bold is a reach, fight was competitive. Holyfield was using his skull in that fight too.

No the first fight was not competitive in the slightest.
Tyson had a punch that hurt Holyfield in the first, and then HOlyfield beat his ass, ate his best combos, and pushed him back and brutalized him until he tko'd him.

Holyfield took out Pinklon Thomas with none of the issues with the jab that Tyson had.
Holyfield took out Tillis, who Tyson couldn't.
Holyfield knockout Buster Douglas, who KO'd Tyson
Holyfield got a win against Lennox, Tyson was KO'd.
Holyfield beat Riddikk.
Holyfield wasn't scared to fight Foreman and won.
Holyfield has actual wins against contemporary ATG and HoFers, Tyson has none.

since tyson was no longer with Rooney.

to continue getting the lessons of cus the way it was intended. Mike was never the mike we touted.
we just liked mike tyson and here we are.
yet the fighter we originally and initally liked.
kid dynamite was a complete fading memory skillwise by the time this fight occurred.
or even the fight with Douglas.


we just adored mike the person and here we are.

Nope once Mike got fed up with Evander it unlocked a tenacity I had not seen from him since the Ruddock series. Ruddock was a harder puncher than holyfield (razor didnt use his skull tho). A prime Ruddock at that. I doubt Mike would have been stopped by Evander again.

Holyfield never beat Lewis. Got lucky with a draw the first fight and lost clearly in the 2nd.

A tenacity that led to jim doing jack shyt, man handled and clenched, eating clena punches, and then breaking down and quitting. Lol

Prime tyson would have got the same shyt done to jim, because Holyfield is was and always will be a better fighter than him. Better in skill, better in adaptability, better in strength, better mentally.
