It was too alien to the previous series which makes sense considering Toriyama wasn't involved.

It was almost like an attempt to combine elements of Dragonball and Dragonball Z that didn't quite make the mark.

I didn't like how they portrayed Trunks. Based on Kid Trunks and his parents' personality, I don't think he would be that level headed.

I enjoyed the later episodes though.

Kid Trunks was definitely his father's and even his mother's son between pride and temper.

Future Trunks maybe my favorite DBZ character but I felt like in DBGT, they made him the straight man just because Pan was a hormonal chick and Goku was a kid again.

They had him babysitting.
