More money goes into them I guess. The whole Hollywood machine. I watch British and European movies all the time tho. There are great Euro flicks but u guys probably wouldn't be into them as much.

Americans bite euro movies and shows often tho and remake them for the American market.

When it comes to cross dressing and stuff like that it makes me think of Monty Python maybe? Which is old British comedy from the 70s. They had a pretty weird sense of humour but even those guys had an impact in the US.

For instance, the creators of South Park were big fans and have a similar sense of humour at times.
