I agree, it can't be just Horford.

The Celtics have so much flexibility in terms of cap, picks, and assets that it's impossible to try to predict what Danny's plan is...

But I'd imagine they'll be putting the full court press on Durant and they'll make a trade to add somebody before free agency to really try to get durant's attention...

I bet ainge seriously considers hield if he doesn't get a top two pick... Can't see him drafting a stash pick like bender

We're in "Rebuilding" Mode. I love Jonas Jerebko and Evan Turner and Amir Johnson but those ain't no 40+ minutes players in the Playoffs. I mean let them ping pong balls fukk around and get us either Simmons or Ingram 2-3 rotation players on the cheap out of the 7 picks we have in the draft this year and with the $60 Million cap space at least an all star caliber player with this year Core and Brad Stevens

The Celtics are the best situation for Durant, like you said the assets, caproom and picks are the best in the league by a wide margin, plus it's the East and an easier path to the finals.


I could see Ainge taking and keep Poeltl if you don't get a top 2 pick, he's a hell of a lot bigger than I thought -
