Low key this is why it's not true when people say Eminem blew up only because he's white. Eminem grew up very different from the average suburban white kid. He wasn't destined to make it at all.
He really grew up like trailer trash. Even though he was white, he definitely had all the odds against him. It's still kind of incredible to think that a guy like him ever made it big. Reading those quotes from his uncle the other day made me realize.
