Africans are generally friendly to foreigners (particularly western foreigners) because there's an assumption foreigners have money so there's no doubt in my mind a western black would be welcomed. Foreigners = walking ATMs

I do own a passport

Aren't you the clown who claims that the UK Is a racial utopia? :mjlol:
nah im the person that said uk police don't legally kill black people
im the person that said uk prisons are not a business run by evil white people to enslave black people
im the person that said uk has no version of KKK that kill, rape, and harm black people on a large scale
im the person that said that.

Yes. My entire family discussed race quite often. I have hundreds of people in my family, they're all black, except for the natives in my family. My family traveled to Africa and showed pictures to me when I was a kid. They also traveled to the Caribbean and educated me on black people there.

They never pressured me to be like them. They wanted me to be proud of who I am and appreciate other cultures. I was exposed to black artists at a young age. Everything from authors to painters.

I thought everyone in the bible was black because my family only has pictures of black jesus. Even the angel hung on our Christmas tree is black.

Pretending everything's all smooth isn't going to make a problem go away. AAs reached out to Italians/Irish in the 1950s. Asians in the 1960s. Latinos/Indians/Arabs in the 1990s and 2000s.

How many times do nikkas need to get burnt before we learn? :dame:

You really need to read up on Liberia and Sierra Leone. Especially Sierra Leone, because Sierra Leone historians know full well where most African Americans are from and it is not Ghana. That is why Sierra Leone has been opening up and trying to lure African Americans as tourists, because of our connection to Sierra Leone. In fact that is what the article that I posted stated:

"A crumbling old slave fort in Sierra Leone is challenging long-held assumptions about African-American ancestry and could threaten Ghana's domination of African American tourism to the continent, writes freelance journalist Paige McClanahan in this article published in the latest issue of our Focus on Africa magazine."

"...

But some historians argue that African-Americans are more likely to have roots in Sierra Leone than in Ghana.

The slave castles in Ghana sent their captives to work on plantations in the West Indies, not to the American colonies.

The strong connection between the US and Sierra Leone that historians have uncovered through documentary research is also turning up in the results of DNA tests, which have become increasingly popular among African-Americans.

The poet Maya Angelou and activist, clergyman and politician Jesse Jackson have reportedly discovered that they have Sierra Leonean ancestors.

There have also been strong suggestions that the American first lady, Michelle Obama, might have a connection to the country, given that her grandfather was born in a Gullah community on the South Carolina coast.

Griffin Lotson, an American who hails from a Gullah community in Georgia, is keen to keep those connections strong.

"Our culture, the Gullah and the Geechee, had its birth on the slave plantations," Mr Lotson said during a visit to Freetown earlier this year... ."

Nope, neither of them mentioned Africa.

Mom never thinks about race (recent stuff in the news is opening her eyes a bit)

Dad was NOI, so I mostly heard "don't trust white folk" as a kid when I did see him.

Now he is all about peace and stuff. While getting verbally abused at work from said white folk.:yeshrug:

Africa wasn't discussed and still isn't. I'm about 4 gens removed from freed slaves who fought for the land that was "gifted" to them by slave masters.

I'm unable to relate to the whole RBG, Kemet, pan-afrikan movement etc because my elders grew up around racism, lynchings, and jim crow shyt.

:mjcry: that's some beautiful as shyt
I appreciate it as an adult. Lol my mom said "honky" a lot. I say cracker everyday. My mom is the GOAT. I swear to God. She taught me to fear no white person unless they're a cop. She never let me act ghetto in her house. She would say, "you're acting like a ****** right now."

It sounds harsh, but her point was if I'm running around acting like a stereotype I can't complain about being called one. That's why I take people calling me stupid very seriously.

Keeping us under-educated and treating us like we're intellectually inferior is what white people do to oppress us. That's what I was taught. The only way to reject white supremacy is to be proud and well educated.

Be whoever you are, but don't be stupid or a coward. It disrespects every black person who died to give us the opportunity to have the right to read, write, and be recognized as human beings with equal rights.

The black identity to my family is that of a brave intelligent person. All that king and god shyt is unnecessary. There were kingdoms in Africa that encouraged all classes of people to study religion, science, and math.

They were well read, spoke multiple languages and studied information from all over the known world.

So all this ignorant N word shyt is fake. No black person is cowardly or stupid. Our genes won't allow it. We've been exported to the white man's world. They re-imagined our identity and history to condition us to be their servant class.

Ironically hundreds of years of propaganda hasn't worked. I really believe our people are on the verge of re-doing something we've already done if you catch my drift. We're nation and family builders. Nothing can change that.
