Didn't Puff go to private school? Wasn't his pop some big hustler in Harlem back in the day?

The problem with wealth once you've had it for so long is you become a little to self-righteous, delusional, and start believing your own bullshyt a little too much.

Hard work is a definitely a component; nikkas not just sitting on generational wealth like the Victorian era and doing nothing all day but eating figs and writing poetry; you definitely have to put in work, but it's a system in place here in the US to help you maintain and generate more wealth once you hit a certain dollar amount. Those doors aren't open to people who simply work hard.

This 100%.

Puff didn't grow up 3rd-world poor or even poor by American standards.

His statement is like a physically gifted pro athlete saying "just spend more time in the gym, eat healthy and drink lots of water." That advice might get you a 6-pack but it's not going to make you 6'8" or help you run a 4.25-40

Puffy starting at 19-years old right now would have a hard time replicating his own success.

Business is partly relationships

you have to strategically throw your back in the wind.

not throw your back in the wind just to say you did it.

I won’t say what I do but…I’ve had access to lots of rich ppl over the last several years and it’s been a huge learning experience in a lot of ways.

And I mean no offence when I say this but many comments in this thread illustrates why rich ppl don’t freely give out game…because most ppl won’t listen and instead will invent some reason as to why it won’t work for them because they’re not special or unlucky and why it does work for others because they ARE special or lucky.

The reality is most ppl aren’t willing to work as hard as rich ppl are willing to work. There’s office job manager working hard and there’s rich ppl working hard and they’re not in the same stratosphere.

But there IS a formula and most rich people will give you the formula if you simply ask and they feel like you’re actually interested. If they think you’re more than interested and will actually move from plans to actions then they’ll help you out.

That’s been my experience with rich people anyway and while I work hard enough for six figures I do NOT work hard enough to be as rich as they are and I’m not sure I want to because it comes with a lot of personal sacrifices. It doesn’t mean rich people are working super hard all the time but they are skipping hobbies, social events and family time way more often than the average person and personally, way more often than I would like.
