People knew how Diddy moved before Making The Band came out. He was known for having shytty contracts and his artists going nowhere after a song or two. With all that being said, people still ran in droves to be on that show. I get it though. They wanted to get out the hood even if the fame and money wasn't going to last long.
Suge was a villain, Suge wanted to be the face of it while Diddy was a behind the scenes curator.

He did change their lives. They got exposure to a worldwide audience and had a gold selling album. How many rappers and singers never got a chance to have their talent exposed to the world? I don't know the particulars of their contracts but they could have used the little fame/notoriety to make something for themselves.Where did diddy make a 100 million of them
