Here Comes the Pain
Superstar
Biggie is better than Kendrick at everything.
Kendrick could barely keep up with a past his prime Jay z.

I can't put much too much stock into that list, but If I did look how fast Kendrick reached number 9.
Plus if you want to take it there.
Grammys though I don't give a damn about them, they have alot more history than that Billboard list, that looks like a desperate Hail Mary move.. Kendrick has 11,Jay-Z has 21,Michael Jackson has 19 just for reference. Jay has been around 20 years,Kendrick for about 6,you do the math. He will more than likely be the most critically acclaimed rap artist of all time. And you guys can shyt on the awards, and publications giving him the acclaim, but you put an awful lot of stock in it those awards, and what those publications say when its your favorite rapper. The way you just whipped out that Billboard list,I know for a fact you would love to tout 11 Grammys for Biggie

I don't knock his right to express himself however he sees fit.I just think he's absolutely safe.
I'm not saying I expect the nicca to be some kind of great leader.I don't.All I'm saying is his music feels watered down.
It doesn't appeal to me....But that's just me.One random nicca on the internet.Kendrick will be alright.

you really comparing the grammys to billboard ???
A bunch of elderly white man voting on a genre, whom never even heard of the name Kool Herc![]()
? ask any artist how many Grammys,or even nominations they would give back to be put on that list
. Kendrick has 11,Jay has 21,Neither would give not even one back to be number 1 on that Billboard list, that is surely written by cacs. This is what you said about his music "They love that PBS after school program "consciousness"...Packaged nice & glossy"
What are some examples of conscience hiphop that you love, similar to Kendricks work in content, that you feel are hard hitting and the opposite of Kendricks?
Yes? ask any artist how many Grammys,or even nominations they would give back to be put on that list

Big Poppa-Corny,Hypnotize-Corny,Juicy-Classic with help of sample,Biggie One More Chance-Classic,Mo Money Mo Problems-A Puffy Song.
Kendrick has "bytch Don't Kill My Vibe"-Classic,Alright-classic,L.O.V.E-classic,Swimming Pools-classic
I see where Puffy is going with this,I think Biggie is the much better all around emcee. Kendrick has proven to be the better artist and technical lyricist, with much more substance, and deeper content. Kendrick is beyond Biggie in terms of levels of importance and impact on the culture. The man is changing lives and creating a positive influence,Biggie didn't create life changing music,at least nothing positive, and probably nothing demonic even.

Biggie is better than Kendrick at everything.
Kendrick could barely keep up with a past his prime Jay z.
You gullible enough to believe that bullshyt? The masses are asses...Always have been...Especially so nowadays.
If you think Pac is boring/have no classics, I seriously have to question your capacity(not you, people in general).
More than likely, Pac's going over your head......Just Dear Mama & Keep Ya Head up alone will outlive most of these present day rap niccaz
whole catalogs....combined.This the microwave era."Substance" can only be found on the exterior of an artsy fartsy concept.
The music is fleeting.Faint, paper thin, and hollow as fukk.Your songs just have to be seemingly deep nowadays.People have been dumbed down.
Barren dry landscapes in this desert called Hip Hop.Droughts & famines all around. These thirsty fukks will draw a few drops of water out of a rock
and call it the best shyt ever!!Even have the nerve to diss previous era's when the land was flowing with milk & honey. They're pillars of salt.
Swimming Pools, Alright, Humble, Love, Loyalty, etc. The longevity of contemporary music has less to do with it being "classic" and more to do with old people always loving the music they listened to when they were 10yo-20yo. Same reason Drake has more "classics" than anyone, and we'll be hearing them nonstop for 20+ years as people our age rock out. Same with Kanye.
People are still playing Nelly songs today breh. Old school hip hop radio stations are slowly becoming a thing, and I'm sure old school streaming playlists will continue gaining steam too. And it's gonna be a lot of Lil Wayne, Young Thug, etc whether purists like it or not lol.
