He was getting recruited by everybody and had plenty offers, but then he got locked his senior year. When he got out, the only guy still around was John Thompson recruiting him to play basketball at Georgetown.

To be real, it probably worked out A LOT better for him in the NBA than it would have in the NFL.

The whole 757 was a hotbed for athletes so when I heard this I wasn't surprised. Wasn't Ronald Curry more of a sensation at QB than even Vick and AI back in HS? Or was that just grandstanding by some Curry stans?

Curry was the most hyped out of them all. Dude made the mistake of trying to play both sports a UNC.

He was amazing in HS though....
