He's made the jump NOW, he is contending for best in the league NOW! They are running the offense through him and he is KILLIN the Blazers. It's to the point that when he gets the ball, you expect him to score every time.

In a sense that's true, but all three of those dudes are greedy. It's hard to get THREE players like that (all at the same time) to carry out the game plan every time you set up in the halfcourt - and once one dude starts deviating from what Monty wants them to do - it just encourages the other dudes to do the same. And it's not as easy as just benching them either, because their bench is shyt and teams would just swarm AD whenever he gets the ball.
