It was aight, 3-3.5/5. However, you know how these non-jay-z fans go, if ain't 5 mics it's the worst thing they've heard in their life. And the further we go in time, the more these people will do their revisionist shyt and act like it was ass when it dropped and on. Just like BP2, which went hard in the streets just wasn't worthy of the BP name and shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as the two dead brethren double albums.

BP2 had some great songs. It's equivalent to Streets Disciple in a way.
Magna is a 2 mic album maybe.
Not a single great verse from Jay.
Also - Magna was considered shyt in 2013 and it's considered shyt now.

I've not listened to it since 2013 but not a single hiphop site gave it below 3.5 miss (most of them 4 mics, XXL, Hiphopdx, allhiphop, source etc), which I thought was excessive.
While some hating ass cacs who said that he sounds too rich and that he's corny for beefing with Scott Boras gave it 2 which made an average of around 3. It's obvious which side of the spectrum that you were on :mjpls:.

He was flowing on Somewhereinamerica, that joint with Ocean, obviously murked the fukk out of Nas on BBC, he killed Crown and FUTW was dope as well. Conclusively it was a throwaway 3 mic album, nowhere near horrible and I've not heard anyone who doesn't dislike Jay-z say that.

Not a single one.
If you want to call it a throwaway 3 mic album :yeshrug:
I call it the worst album of his career.

He had several, you might've not got the references like the cacs.
Furthermore, worst album is like Lebrons worst performance in the playoffs :manny:
