To highlight the impact of SDD.

I popped one in on my GF's laptop that is about 5-6 years old. Old ass HP. Used to take at least a minute to boot up.

With this, you can do a full restart back to the login screen in 30 seconds. Takes 5-10 seconds to get to the login from a cold boot. It literally brings old PCs back to life and I refuse to run any PC I have on anything less at this point. At least for the OS drive.

This is why I would have prefered a smaller SSD to come installed into every xbox one and PS4...you add more storage later on.

The HDD will have load times will only get worse as those :flabbynsick: mechanical drives start to break down and games get more demanding.

thats how I got mine

I got my 128 GB SSD for windows and I put priority shyt on their like OBS and the game I plan on playing at the time. The rest of the shyt goes on my 3 TB HDD

which is a new hard drive its pretty fast for a HDD :leon:

you wanna see SSD work in games play some shyt that loads a lot like a RPG or some shyt :ohlawd:

Threw an SSD in my PC when I built it. Only 128gb but Windows and BF4 have always loaded in seconds. I'd love for consoles to come with SSD's but it'd likely never happen.

Same here, but with 8 TB. shyt is ridiculous. Pressed reboot and looked at my phone real quick and I was back on the login screen. Had to ask myself if I restarted :heh:

houston.
I recently installed the Samsung 256gb PRO SSD on my laptop and moved my HDD to the optical bay. The OS is in the SSD and everything else is on my HDD.

this the best upgrade you can do on your computer
