Thought that was the whole point of the NBA and the NFL lock outs just recently ? That the owners needed to be saved from themselves and this time around they would learn from their mistakes in the past and not give out bad contracts

seems to me theirs more bad contracts being given out now more than ever, I wonder what the real reason for the lock outs was then, cause nothing seemed to really change:sas2:

bad rookie contracts. this saves us a :jawalrus: situation

I thought it was for everything though. The owners were complaining they were making bad decisions ( :snoop: ) and they needed to be saved because they werent making that much profit (even though they didnt wanna open the books). The whole point of the amnesty.

Nothings changed though in either league, actually its gotten worse :snoop:

at the end of the day, gms are cowards with no balls, hence the qb prices get inflated. at some point the league will step in and resolve that, either by upping the cap like the double, or just a hard cap max like in bball.

Those aren't bad contracts. They're quarterbacks. If those teams were unhappy, they can just cut them. They aren't guaranteed.

Just because their position has a different title to it doesnt mean they arent bad contracts. Some of those contracts at least half are guaranteed.
