You're right. But Mike at that same age was more polished, smooth and fluid than Chris is even now. Half that is because his father drilled it into him during his formative years the other half is because Mike himself put in the work like a madman. His artistry seemed like it was spiritual to him. I also don't see Chis and Mike as the same kind of dancers those comparisons were manufactured. While Chris is skilled and athletic enough to hit a the same moves his style is more like a martial artist showing off fancy punches and kicks if that makes sense.

Edit: Now I do believe Breezy is phenomenal but Mike was a different animal.
