when he was with lana, he should've turned heel and been abusive. rusev was injured at the time, and he should've returned months later to save lana. i think people would've popped huge for that. people liked rusev and lana even when they were heel because they were entertaining.

people liked both lana and ziggler, but the wwe found a way for people to not fukk with them by putting them together and having them make out all the time

instead they did nothing with all three and all of them are cold

I don't dislike Ziggler as much as everyone else does here but my biggest complaint about him is that he hasn't evolved as an in-ring wrestler.

When his comeback has been the exact same in each of his matches for the past 3 years . Lots of wrestlers do this but the desperation super kick into a pin should not be a staple of every match you're in.

Yep, Reigns has evolved into a more power style, Rollins has evolved into a more ground approach, just two examples, Ziggler is still wrestling exactly like he did in '12. Also he still seems to be running with this "young cat trying to make it" character, like sit down somewhere, you 36

I couldn't think of what irritated me about him, but I think this might be it.

He still has a shot, but it does require him to take a different turn with this push. It could be his last if it doesn't become something. They could easily do something like Jericho in '08 (HBK feud) or Christian in '11 (Orton feud)... have him become more and more antagonizing as the weeks go by, then lose at SummerSlam and become a fully bitter heel who has a violent feud with Ambrose. He can still be a cocky heel, but add more to it by him becoming more angry and less of 'the ShowOff'... decide he's done trying to impress people and only cares about what he wants.

And can we please get a new finisher... that ZigZag needed to go years ago.

I don't see a connection...ziggler works the ziggler match regardless if his opponent can keep up or if it makes sense by psychology...he's had the same match for all intents and purposes since 2010...we are just growing tired of it and his sellyselling.

I have no problem with the title shot honestly...there are a cache of guys like him they can reboot as title contenders easily...this is how and he is one of them.

concussions killed a lot of his momentum before.

It's weird how people rarely ever mention this. He got a huge pop when he won the World Heavyweight Championship and he was on the verge of a main event push. Then he got injured, came back to lose the title, and they never did anything with him after that. He was one of the hottest acts in the business when he cashed in and they just killed his momentum after that.

I don't know how much things would have changed if he won the title back but I don't think he would be in the same spot he's in now.
