a woman's idea of beauty in a woman says something about herself. the idea will resemble her, be more diverse & realistic

a man's idea of beauty in a woman says something about society. there will be some social aspect attached to it i.e trophy, perceived personality traits etc

of course this isn't 100% the case, but i'd say it is the majority of the time. the same could be applied to beauty in a man.

i did not realize rihanna had light eyes until years into her career. bw don't pay attention to eye color like that. i just learned beyonce had light eyes and i've been exposed to her half my life. women like rihanna because she has features they identify with, like her nose & hairstyles
