Disappointed? Yes a little, though I still think the game will be a lot of fun.

I honestly don't see the problem with the textures. No they aren't the best by any means, but they look good and are a huge step above plenty of last gen open world games. As are the lighting/shadows and other graphical effects.

I think people are holding this game to unfair standards. Will all of you be disappointed when it comes out that killzone can't keep a stable framerate?

No Meach, stop this madness man. A next gen, not current gen, but NEXT GEN console struggling with 720p 30fps? It's one thing to dip a few frames when tons of shyt are on screen, but to drop 30 and 40 percent for a next gen console?

This is HELLA disappointing and moreso rediculous. MS chose poorly and the word about the weakness of the console only continues to spread like wildfire esp in this day and age.

When has a console not struggled with framerates or making graphical concessions for performace? Especially at launch.

When ps3 games were launching with their framerates halved or the resolutions compromised, or without even being able to match 360 effects, where any of you running around talking about how it was ridiculous or how the ps3 was serverly underpowered?

Never said killzone was trash. I asked will y'all hold it to the same standards. The PS4 is the most powerful gaming machine ever. Surely it should have no problem with framerates right?

& so far it doesn't have a problem with framerate. Unless you think ~30 FPS is a "problem"

Then I guess you won't be playing much of anything on Xbox with that logic :lolbron:

it's similar to saying DR3 has struggle framerates because it has the more NPC's than any next gen game

Nah. Y'all making all these bold statements about what these obviously rushed(as all launch titles are) mean about the Xbox one in the future. But not one of you was making those staments when the gulf in performance was even larger last gen.

Why is that?

Would y'all be okay with DR3 being 2FPS if it had a million enemies on screen? At some point you've gotta make sure the game runs atleast DECENTLY

TLOU which y'all praised to high hell had a consistent sub 30fps framerate. And none of you seemed to care a bit

Totally different because the PS3 HAD THE POWER, it was just difficult programming for. That situation was resolved as cats got familar with programming and the shyt caught up.

Both systems have the same architecture this time, just one much stronger and it's showing. There is nothing they can catch up on power wise like cats with the cell programming on the ps3.

Shaky 720p is unnaceptable. Point blank. If it was 1080p dipping some frames, that's one thing (and by some frames, not by 30 - 40% dips).

The game is struggling at 720p dawg!! That is disgusting.
