I've just redone the Landing Page to have better focus and it looks a lot better. Now i just gotta get the copy on point. I also implemented tracking on my sales funnel to give me better insight on what people are doing once they click the ad.

Gonna relaunch the AdWords campaign as soon as we get our new product photos. My main goals for the month is to increase the CTR for our PPC ad by 20%, get our first sale off our PPC campaign, and focus on increasing our mailing list. We got some really good lead magnets so I'm excited to see what kind of response we get.

All this shyt is somewhat new to me but its starting to make sense.

how do you recommend gettting clients?

this site has a higher ratio of westerners working it. it's way more lucrative than that fiverr and upwork type stuff. just know that it is not a freelance site, more of a services for sale site so you have to be able to handle the possibility of a lot of customers at once since you are not taking a job but actually selling services to anybody that buys them.

pick one or two things you are good at and either try to beat the competition on price, quality, or turn around time. it's a lot easier to upsell on this site as well. offer a low introductory thing to get attention, then add stuff on and see the price rise.

Subbing this thread for later. I worked for Web.com for 6 years building out PPC campaigns and performing SEO on sites. My old job just called me last week to come back in. Interviewed on Wed and they are offering more cash so I will probably go back. Have been out of the game though for 3 years. Need to soak up some more knowledge because I want to do freelance stuff on my own also.

PPC yielded lackluster results for me but it's a niche + adcopy + budget specific thing


as far as SEO goes; 301 redirects + private blog networks ranked whatever i needed between 2008-2013
