At the rate things are going, individual shows are going to bypass streaming platforms and have their own subscriptions. It's already happening with movies.

I'm still amazed Black musicians past and present dont sling their own content directly from their own sites..rather than waiting for a fraction of a penny after millions of spins from spotify and apple..

Not all content can be found on big streaming services

Plus spotify regularly takes music down, or its the remastered version that isnt mixed as well as the OG version, doesnt have rare remixes or live shows

or samples don't get cleared, so they put an inferior remake on the streaming services

Isnt this the same as just going to a movie theater? A whole tv series is the same length as a feature film and that film costs about the same as a subscription.

I don’t think so bc mostly the same production companies make all the big movies, and most smaller writers/producers need to team up with someone to get their work created. They don’t have the funds to create their own platform, nobody except Tyler Perry. I could see the big production companies like lions gate, Warner bros, Disney etc having their own steaming thing with movies or trying to bundle, but I doubt it.

Look the shyt up, I don’t question the sources I just care about how beautiful the picture and sound quality are. I’m only running pioneer Andrew jones equipment though, I haven’t stepped up to in wall speakers since I’m a little behind budget on my build.
