Absolutely was fire too. This album he definitely went more experimental with Mk.gee but I fukk with it. I like how he has strong Prince and D’angelo and that gritty unpolished Jai Paul sound influence on this album. To me it’s alot different and if you have expectations from Absolutely this album might throw you off a bit. But in terms of what’s been released this year so far it’s a strong contender for album of the year for me.

I actually liked this a lot more than Absolutely. The production was layered and eclectic but it all worked.

A lot of hip hop samples through out the album. Automatic is hard. This album definitely caught my attention more than absolutely which was more of a slow burn for me.

I was trying to put folks onto him 10 years ago when he was in his Neptunes/Timbo era. I haven't got into his new stuff yet, but I'm happy to see him pop off.
