I don’t think anyone was expecting a 5th rounder to rank higher than a 3rd rounder.

I just hope Flacco get out of the way real quick

You are wrong. Plenty of late rd picks leap over higher draft picks when it come time to play. Don’t try and now say qb specifically cause you realize your original statement was dumb.
I’m asking you to give examples. I asked for QB’s because we both know they get treated different

Are you going to post examples or no?

Shedeur’s poor performance in the last preseason game sealed his fate. He’ll be QB3 for now and by the end of the season he’ll get his chance to play.

Before he stepped foot on the field owners collectively went stupid due to that contract.

You can say you feel Shedeur was overrated without denying what we all know about the NFL and old white men as a whole.
I didn't feel he was overrated, I feel he's underrated. Higher than a 5th rounder. But I'm not an NFL scout, gm or coach. I also don't care about what media say unless they are reporting what people with knowledge say.

I don't know what old white men have to do with anything. Do you think black or asian young or old men or women would like to give Bradley Beal, Paul George or Watson a quarter of a billion guaranteed? :dahell:

Facts is that no matter what they will pay out about the same amount every year, the question is if it's to the right person or the wrong person and if they can regret their choice or not.

NFL (and America) has always made the road more difficult for outspoken confident black men.

It’s not a foreign concept to believe some of the abnormal things about Shedeurs NFL journey have been because he doesn’t fit the humble subservient roll the owners want to see.

As a Black man NEVER FORGET:

They don't want to see you win AND they are always watching you AND if you get "out of pocket" "become too flashy" (to them) you're toast.
When you rub any form of success in their face AND they can still benefit/do well without you... you've entered the danger zone.
IF everyone loves you.. you're REALLY in the danger zone.

These cacs really did it: they took a top 5 draft pick, made him a 5th round draft pick, and got him at the end of the bench.

Hate watching every Browns game hoping they completely implode.
All this crying for a QB that ain’t never won nothing on no level and looked like ass his last time touching the field :heh:

Like we didn’t all watch Ochocinco, Prime Time, Mike Vick, Cam Newton, OBJ, Antonio Brown, Desean Jackson and other get anything they wanted

Like the first QB taken in the draft isn’t a black trash talking young bull

Yall are real deal victims it’s insane

Went well for Kobe, Lebron, Mj, Mahomes, Hurts, Deion and them :yeshrug:

Perhaps your skills need to match your confidence.

And even people like the three latest #1 draftees.

Politically outspoken people are the only ones I see getting blocked. The Sanders family is the opposite of that. I don't like to guess, but I would like to know why he wasn't drafted higher. I have yet to hear any logical arguments.

Brock purdy

And late rd picks do not get treated differently.

Kirk Cousins / RG3 is the only scenario I can think of but that took a couple years
This is my point. The higher drafted player will usually be given more grace & opportunities. A team used their higher pick why wouldn’t they?

In Brock situation it took injuries. Even with RG3/Kirk they kept giving the lean to RG3 because he was drafted first.
