They are not hiding anywhere. The mother and daughter went on vacation to Bali, Indonesia. The boyfriend showed up a few days later. The mother was murdered in Indonesia not the United States.

I thought the daughter killed the mother?
She did but her and the lawyer told the boyfriend to take the rap otherwise he would get the death penalty. And if she admitted to it, she wouldn't get her million dollar inheritance.
