Shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Demetrius Pinckney of N 22nd Street died during what witnesses told investigators appeared the be an apparent argument and chase between numerous people riding dirt bikes and ATVs. While in the vicinity of 24th and Morris streets a gunman opened fire causing the 21-year-old to fall off his bike. He died on the scene. A second man, a 20-year-old, suffered gunshot wounds to his thigh and buttocks, said police.
