I agree with you in regards to the individual rappers. I say it can be an argument made because Dipset had a huge impact that is even felt today. A lot of this generation's rappers are heavily influenced by Dip. Much more so than The Lox/D-Block. Also as much as I love The Lox, they don't have any solo or group classics and the only album in their catalog that can probably come near Diplomatic Immunity is Styles Gangsta and a Gentleman. Lox solos are mostly meh and Dip solos are mostly meh. That cancels each other out. Both camps had dope mixtapes.
