Tbh they were never that nice to begin with. They had some joints tho. They were hot at the perfect time when hip hop was all about “movements”.

I agree, and this is coming from a Harlem nikka. Cam'Ron was always nice, but the rest of that whole crew (not even a big Juelz fan) were just luck to get put on. They capitalized off of being funny and dressing colorfully. They didn't revolutionize the game like the Wu did in the early/mid 90s.

i think people laughed more at him because of how it went down, remember Rell played up the image of super gangster, with that being said . . .

Dipset was that early to mid 2000's hustling music, right along with early trap music. Its wild that they got into it with BMF because when I hear their songs today thats what it makes me think of. Early 2000's brehs getting a whole lot of paper. I almost feel like trap was the mainstream shyt, but the brehs who was actually doing it, even in the south also played a whole bunch of shyt like this. Jeezy for sure chipped away at their fanbase down south when he blew up.
