Wonder how that affects us over in Canada, as our PPVs run through Bell/Rogers.

If we are in the same boat then I'm unsure of this brehs. I knew providers like DirectTV would feel some type of way but pulling it completely? :patrice: We all know how the E does when they are the only option in town. :patrice:

They better have those servers top fukking notch because that traffic they are about to get in the US alone for WM :damn: Having no secondary option would be :sadcam:

Are there many events pulling in decent #s that DirecTV could replace the E with (given that they already have UFC)?

I think people also don't notice the type of ad revenue Vince is going to make off this shyt.

Even if it's small time ad money, he goes from having roughly 8 hours of TV time per week, to have a 24/7 network to sell ads for.

Like I said, even if it's for small time business at odd hours, that's still ad money non stop all day every day.

It isn't. I kow so many lapsed fans buying that network.

People absolutely love the Netflix/Hulu model.

So when you think about it, even fans who were just fans during the 90's, you tell me they wouldn't pay $10 a month to watch all the Stone Cold/Rock/Hogan/nWo stuff, then the old school cats who watched during the 80's/

I can see this making the brand in general much more popular.

Funny, this shyt will only cause more people to buy the Network.

Vince pulled the ultimate chess move on these clown ass cable/satelite companies.

Dude beat the US Gov't, Ted Turner and now the Cable/Satelite TV industry.

Vince the Architect and almighty

Vince Godmahon :banderas:

Some posters were right on some other thread about him not strictly being the best wrestling booker of all time, but as far as being a straight businessman goes :wow:. The moves he has made from day one, to distribute his shyt and make sure more people buy into his shyt over anyone else's shyt is truly amazing.

This.

it's INSANE that no other entity has figured out what WWE has done this week. And it's because they're are scared/stupid/in bed with the cable networks and in 2-5 years, Vince is gonna look like a fukking genius. In hindsight, it was smart for the WWE crew to postpone the network and get their shyt together. Yeah, people were a little butthurt about it, but the shyt is gonna pay off big time. They just gotta keep that price at $10 and follow It up with some better in-ring talent.

A lot of people already have Roku/Chromecast/Smart TVs and Blu Ray players that connect to the internet so this channel is right up their alley.

And the WWE/WWF/WCW library is sooooooooooooo deep that this network can feed the company forever. If they were smart they would already be making deals with The Rock (if possible), Hogan and Stone Cold to do some non-ring related content.

The younger kids are gonna eat so well offa this network.

Vince done laid out the blueprint and it's gonna be hard for NBA/MLB/NFL to copy this model because they've invested so much in their own cable networks that it's almost pointless to do a full fledged online thing
