If he packed this much into one scene, I’m wondering what else I may have missed.

:ohhh::patrice:

One thought I had was Black Panther’s suit representing melanin. The suit (skin) reacts to sound waves and absorbs power (sun rays).

Anyone else notice any symbolism that may not have been obvious to others?

No homo but I love his voice

and I love how someone from the block can be successful and not be forced to change his voice to turn into some Brian Gumble Bougie n1kka sh1t with no bass in his tone in order to appease white people and toms

Do your thing and don't ever change breh

:salute:

Not homo at all. I noticed and appreciate the same thing.

I’m glad he talked about the music in that video cuz that really did help drive the film.

I was trippin in the first scene when they played Too Short in a MARVEL MOVIE then played MOZZY’s verse at the end.

No homo but I agree

That Oakland accent makes he believe a real nikka can be successful behind the camera.

all the nikkas in here talking about how they love another man's voice and accent

:Guccipause:
That's funny but I feel what the other brehs are saying.

Coogler sounds like me (sans the Oakland accent) and my boys. Most of the brothas and sistas who make it in Hollywood speak and act like those 2 Dope Queens chicks.
(Nothing wrong with speaking proper English but fukk that deliberate valley girl/boy shyt)
A lot of ppl code switch when they get around white folks.

I've been successfully working in Hollywood for over 10 years and I don't code switch for anyone.
So I appreciate when I see other brothas who become successful stay true to themselves and not be on fake shyt.
